Well, it only took three months but we finally get a plan from the president.
It was the right call to send to the general the 30,000 troops. It was to little and again 3 months late but i guess better late than never!
But, I didn't hear from this president anything about a plan to WIN!
Winning is everything...not just to win a little or to call it a draw....to win means something.
Basketball is a sport that this president loves...can we allow basketball teams to announce a plan to walk off the court at some point during the game because the coach determined that it was time to leave!...could we expect a basketball team to have a plan to win?...
i would hope so.
You don't send a team into battle without a plan to win....and, you certainly don't announce to the opposition a time line to quit.
I fear that this president will hurt our effort rather than continue the success that our military has built over the past 6 years. Iraq is now a success and we have given our most valuable assets in it's development...we have given our U.S. military soldiers lives. Now it's up to Iraq to respect what was sacrificed in the development of its new country and to see how they move from here.
We hope that they understand the supreme sacrifice that was made.
Afghanistan is a different country...its a lawless land with an 18Th century way of life. We must be vigilant in our approach and get the job done. We must have the complete support of the United States and we must win!...Winning is everything....no exceptions!
To wipe out the evil that permeates throughout the terrorists that live in the darkness of the borders within these territory's. It will be difficult but I believe that history will prove that it was a war of necessity.
Anytime you send our young men and women into harms way you must have a plan to win or not to send them at all.
I hope the president will reevaluate his announcement and make a new plan with the language that we all want and need to hear....WIN!
